I wanted to submerge myself in water

Cleanse myself of my saintly sins

Feel the water engulf me 

And wrap me in its arms

I wanted the silence

The nothingness and vastness of a creature that could not be tamed

That didn’t need to be

I wanted to sink 

See the outside world from interior depths

I wanted to be a part of the ocean 

Become it

Become something so dangerous and chaotic the only way anyone could describe me would be

An entity

An agent of chaos
